North Cyprus Currency

The local Currency is YTL (New Turkish Lira)  though you will find that all major currencies are accepted, likewise are major credit cards and travellers cheques.

Although it must be your choice, it maybe a good idea to wait until you are in North Cyprus before exchanging money.  The exchange rate flutuates daily so by doing this you can check the daily rate of exchange being offered by banks, exchange bureaus and hotels.
